Residential design excellence along the Schlossufer Rhine Bank in Düsseldorf
Upscale living accommodation is finding its way back into the city centres. In addition to new construction, the conversion of abandoned former public building complexes is playing a key role. In the transformation of a historic hospital to the "Kameha Residence Düsseldorf" the demands of the conservationists went far beyond the preservation of the façade. The apparent restrictions, however, proved to be an impulse for numerous design and functional characteristics, from the floor plan to the roof style and car parking system.
