Automatic parking systems from WÖHR
Whether it’s a large underground car park, an inner-city neighbourhood or a challenging infill development, WÖHR’s automated parking systems offer tailor-made solutions for every urban planning scenario. Different system types can be combined to create intelligent parking concepts, resulting in parking solutions that adapt perfectly to the floor plan, building height, parking space requirements and traffic flow.
The benefits of WÖHR’s automatic parking systems:
- Reduced traffic areas; no ramps or driveways required
- High parking density with minimal space requirements
- Customisable system options for large-scale projects, neighbourhood car parks and urban underground car parks
- Seamless integration into new and existing buildings
- Future-proof solutions for sustainable urban and mobility concepts
WÖHR’s automated parking systems create parking spaces where conventional solutions reach their limits – efficiently, flexibly and with a well-thought-out architectural design.
- Automatic parking, as tailored to your project as you are.
Parksafe
The Parksafe range offers automated parking solutions for projects with limited floor space and particularly high or restrictive structural requirements. Vehicles can be efficiently stacked on top of one another and the available space utilised to the full, even in spaces as small as 49 m². Thanks to their compact, vertical design, the systems are ideally suited to inner-city locations and challenging sites. Where greater parking capacity is required, several systems can be combined to flexibly expand capacity and precisely meet individual project requirements.
Suitable for:
- Limited floor space
- Tight and complex structural requirements
Levelparker
The Levelparker is the ideal solution for projects with low ceiling heights and limited space. This clever sliding puzzle system allows for efficient use of space without the need for access aisles, thereby maximising parking density within a minimal footprint. Thanks to compact parking across up to five levels, vehicles can be accommodated in a space-saving and cost-effective manner – perfect for city centre locations and challenging existing buildings.
Suitable for:- Low profile
- Limited space
Multiparker
The Multiparker range offers flexible automated parking solutions with a particularly large number of parking spaces. Thanks to their modular design, the systems can be flexibly adapted to the requirements of different building structures. Depending on the project, various structures can be realised – from long, narrow structures to compact surface-level solutions where vehicles can be parked efficiently across up to eight levels. In this way, the system adapts perfectly to different site geometries and project requirements, enabling maximum use of space whilst ensuring high cost-effectiveness.
Suitable for:
- Long and narrow layouts
- A large number of pitches
How does a fully automatic parking system from WÖHR work?
The user parks their vehicle in the drop-off area and initiates the parking process at the touch of a button or via a terminal. From that moment on, the automated parking system takes complete control of the rest of the process. The parking process happens as if by magic: the system detects the vehicle and moves it safely within the facility to its parking position. Various technologies are used for this – depending on the system, these might include a stacker crane or a shuttle, which transports the vehicle precisely and reliably to the relevant parking position. This enables convenient, safe and efficient parking at the very cutting edge of technology.
The main benefits
- Maximum space efficiency
No access lanes, ramps or manoeuvring areas – resulting in significantly more parking spaces within the same footprint. - High flexibility in planning
Adaptable to complex floor plans, deep spaces, narrow structures and urban underground car parks. - Ideal for large-scale projects & neighbourhood solutions
Scalable for high numbers of parking spaces and integrable into urban mobility and urban development concepts. - Reduced construction volume and less excavation
Lower construction heights and depths reduce costs, construction time and resource consumption. - High user comfort
Easy parking in the transfer cabin – no traffic searching for a space, no manoeuvring.
- Enhanced security
No pedestrian traffic in the parking area; secure vehicle storage. - Option: pallet-free or pallet-based
Optimal adaptation to project requirements and operational concepts, depending on the system type. - Sustainable solution
Efficient use of space, reduced material consumption and support for modern mobility and ESG goals. - Future-proof & durable
Proven WÖHR technology for reliable operation in demanding projects.
Applications of fully automated parking systems
- Large-scale projects & Neighbourhood developments
Ideal for projects with high parking space requirements where maximum space efficiency and scalability are essential. - Urban underground and neighbourhood car parks
Particularly suitable for inner-city locations where space is limited and conventional ramp solutions are not feasible. - Projects with narrow or complex building structures
Flexible adaptation to narrow, long or irregular floor plans as well as deep building depths. - Residential construction & Mixed-use projects
Efficient parking solutions for residential, office, hotel and commercial use within an integrated utilisation concept.
- Redensification & of the inner-city built environment
Creating parking spaces where space is limited and excavation depths are shallow. - Sites with high architectural standards
Reducing the amount of surface-level traffic space allows for more open space for architecture, green spaces and public areas. - Mobility and future concepts
As part of sustainable urban and mobility planning, e.g. in combination with e-mobility and cycling schemes. - Projects focusing on safety & comfort
No pedestrian traffic in the parking area, automated processes and high user comfort.
