WÖHR parking platforms: Multi-row parking. No pit required. Ideal for unused space in underground car parks.

WÖHR’s parking platforms enable space-saving parking in multiple rows – flexible, cost-effective and without the need for a structural pit. Vehicles are parked one on top of the other on staggered parking slabs, allowing existing space to be used to its full potential.

Parking platforms really come into their own in underground car parks with so-called ‘dead space’ – for example, under ramps, in peripheral areas or where headroom is limited. As no excavation is required, they can be easily integrated into existing structures and are ideal for retrofitting and refurbishment.

Whether in single or multiple rows: the parking platforms can be individually adapted to the floor plan, parking space requirements and building structure, creating additional parking spaces where conventional solutions no longer work.

  • More parking spaces in the same area. Without costly construction work.

Parking platform 601 – Maximum space, minimal impact

Ideal for expanding existing parking spaces. Vehicles are efficiently moved sideways to create additional parking spaces without the need for structural alterations.

Parking Platform 503 – The compact sliding platform

The aisle space is utilised even more efficiently with the 503 parking platform. In front of the conventional parking bays, the system creates additional space-saving parking bays by shifting them sideways.

Turntable 505 – Turning instead of manoeuvring

The turntable rotates the vehicle into the ideal position – perfect for narrow yards, garages or driveways without a turning circle.

The main benefits

  • More parking spaces in the same area thanks to staggered, stacked parking
  • Can be arranged in multiple rows – flexible adaptation to floor plans and parking requirements
  • No pit required – ideal for easy integration into new and existing buildings
  • Perfect for utilising ‘dead space’ in underground car parks, e.g. under ramps or in peripheral areas
  • Minimal structural work and reduced construction and development costs
  • Simple, semi-automatic operation offering a high level of user convenience
  • Robust, low-maintenance technology for long-lasting and cost-effective operation
  • Versatile application in residential construction, infill development and renovation

Applications of WÖHR PARKING PLATFORMS AND TURNTABLES

  • Existing underground car parks: Ideal for retrofitting existing underground car parks, particularly for utilising unused (‘dead’) space beneath ramps, in peripheral areas or where headroom is limited.
  • Residential construction (multi-family dwellings): Creating additional parking spaces where space is limited – cost-effective, space-saving and without the need for major structural work.
  • Inner-city redensification: Perfect for urban locations where conventional parking solutions are not feasible and every square metre counts.
  • New-build projects without a pit solution: Parking slabs do not require a pit and are therefore suitable for projects with limited excavation space or strict building regulations.
  • Renovations and refurbishments: An efficient solution for increasing the number of parking spaces during conversions or refurbishments of existing buildings.
  • Plots with complex layouts: Thanks to single- or multi-row configurations, they can be flexibly adapted to different floor plans and parking space requirements.
  • Residential and commercial properties: Suitable for both private parking spaces and mixed-use buildings with varying user requirements.

PARKING PLATFORM – Successful Projects

SUSTAINABLE NEIGHBOURHOOD DEVELOPMENT IN THE FORMER DAIRY DISTRICT

In the Meierikvartalet urban development project, the parking platforms provided a compact and efficient parking solution within an urban setting. The automated parking system supports sustainable neighbourhood development and creates valuable space for modern living and working in the heart of Oslo.

Additional parking spaces despite limited space

The Hasle Tarn project in Norway focused on the challenge of creating additional parking space within a limited area. Thanks to WÖHR’s parking platforms, the existing space was utilised efficiently and the number of parking spaces was significantly increased – without the need for major structural alterations and perfectly adapted to the existing layout.
